Industrial Liaison Office deals with Industrial Practical Training for ATC students as well as link Coordination Office in the College.
Industrial Practical Training (IPT) is among the major components covered in the three years Ordinary Diploma and Undergraduate Programs. IPT in this Context means practical training taken by all eligible students in the Industries, factories, workshops, laboratories and constructyion sites at a given time of the academic year.
Objectives ofIndustrial Practical Training
To give students an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge and skills gained during the tutorial semesters to real practical situations in the Industries/ fields
To increase skills gained in the College workshops and to get used to different euquipments not in the College
To give students chance to appreciate and practise manual work
To realize the importance of cooperation and good human relationship at workplace.
To give students an opportunity to appreciate that cost estimation & efficiency are important factors to be considered during engineering decisions.
To give students a chance to know organizational and management problems in Engineering activities
To give students a chance to identify projects that can be done during their coursework.
