Developing the ability to reflect on your teaching practice allows you to make the critical link between what you have achieved in practice and your plans for the future. This workshop explores what it means to be a reflective practitioner before examining some useful models of reflection. Tips and hints for reflective writing will also be discussed with some examples of relfective writing critically reviewed. The workshop will conclude with a discussion on the wide variety of tools available to assist with reflective writing, as well as some useful techniques for promoting reflection.
This workshop is suitable for all student involved in the design and delivery of lectures / workshops / labs etc.
